She Don't Run As Fast As She Used To

Written by

Errol Walsh/Dave Luke

She don't run as fast as she used to

She's sick and tired of life just passing by

And she don't hide in dark dusty corners

She's got that reckless hungry look there in her eye

She never needed more than I could give her

And everything I did by her was fine

No other guy could ever come between us

'Cos she'd run away from any other love that wasn't mine

Now she don't run as fast as she used to

She's sick and tired of life just passing by

And she don't hide in dark dusty corners

She's got that reckless hungry look there in her eye

She's had enough, pretending that she's happy

Spending nights at home alone, crying

But now will she run to the arms of a stranger

Used to be she'd run away from any other arms but mine

Now she don't run as fast as she used to

She's sick and tired of life just passing by

And she don't hide in dark dusty corners

‘Cos she's restless and she's weary

And time keeps slipping by

She's got that reckless hungry look there in her eye
