•  Room for minimum 10-15 or more guests (seated)  and small set up space 

• Ability to provide some light snacks + glasses

• Guests usually bring own drinks unless you have a no-alcohol policy

• Some basic house rules while the live music is on... 
  (i.e. quiet for benefit of musician(s) + other guests)

• A feasible but affordable suggested donation from your guests... agreed in advance 
  (unless you're feeling flush and can afford, or would prefer to host it yourself)
